Summary Punjab Inspector General has ordered the DPOs to transfer all SHOs and Moharrars within 24 hours.

IG Aftab Sultan has said that all the training stations in the province would be closed prior to four days of general elections and under-training officers and cops would be deployed on sensitive points.
He said that foolproof arrangements would be made in consultation with all the stakeholders for security of political leaders.
He said political leaders would address the public gathering from bullet proof roster for which final decision is yet to be finalised.
He made it clear that only police officers would be entitled to have arms and ammunition at polling stations; apart from this, no private guard would be allowed to have arms.
