Summary An attempt to blow Taftan Passenger Train, coming to Quetta from Iran, with explosives failed.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – According to details, some unidentified miscreants used a time device, planted at the railway track near Dalbandin, to blow Taftan Passenger Train when it was on its way to Quetta from Iran on Monday Morning. Luckily the explosion occurred when 22 bogeys of Taftan Passenger Train, coming to Quetta from Iran, crossed the spot of the blast.
The explosion was so severe that it damaged a 3-foot railway track. The local administration and security officials reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
