LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday appointed secretary planning Javed Iqbal as Punjab’s chief secretary.
Earlier, Qamar Zaman Chaudhary refused to accept the bureaucratic position in the province.
The Election Commission, under article 218 of the constitution, has the authority to make changes in the top-most bureaucratic posts.
