Summary Shah Nawaz was appointed as deputy managing director in Pak-China Investment Company.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday declared Shah Nawaz’s appointment in Pak-China Investment Company Limited (PCICL) as illegal.
On March 14, the court reserved its judgment on a petition challenging the appointment of former premier Raja Pervez Ashraf s son-in-law .
The government had, on March 4, Shah Nawaz him as the deputy managing director of the company.
Javed Mehmood, who had been appointed for the same post on January 3, 2011, and whose term was going to expire on January 2, 2014, challenged the appointment of the new deputy managing director in court.
He alleged the appointment had been made under political pressure and violated all rules and regulations.
