ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary will hear a case against former president Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the constitution.
Maulvi Iqbal Haider had filed a petition in 2010 in Sindh High Court accusing Pervez Musharraf of violating the constitution when he imposed emergency in Pakistan on November 3, 2007.
The Sindh High Court in its verdict on October 21, 2010 convicted Pervez Musharraf of treason and directed the petitioner to approach Supreme Court for further proceedings.
