Summary SC orders to keep the services tribunals out of government's influence.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court issued detailed verdict regarding the appointment in federal and provincial services tribunals.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry heard the case.
The court in its order said that the tribunals should be kept out of government s influence. In its 200 pages decision the apex court gave a deadline of a month to the government to appoint chairman and members of the services tribunals. The decision also said that financial independence should be given to the tribunals.
