Summary Parliamentary body failed to reach consensus on caretaker PM on second day.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya Web) - The second session of the Parliamentary committee to nominate to caretaker Prime Minister has ended in Islamabad without reaching on any conclusion.
The committee discussed nominations of Dr. Ishrat Hussain and Retired Justice Nasir Aslam Zahid today while it had discussed the names of Retired Justice Mir Hazar Khan Khoso and Rasool Bux Palejo yesterday.
A member of the committee Ghulam Ahmed Bilour told media after meeting that hopefully‚ the name for the office will be finalised by tomorrow as the committee has completed consultations on all the four names.
Eight-members of the committee including Khurshid Shah, Farooq H Naek, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Pervez Rasheed, Khwaja Saad Rafique and Sardar Yaqub Nasir attended the session.
The final ssession of the committee will be held at 10.30 tomorrow (Friday).
