No deadlock over caretaker PM: Khursheed Shah

Summary Shah was addressing the media in Islamabad.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah said there was no deadlock over the matter of caretaker PM, adding that there were five names, proposed by opposition and government, in consideration.

 

Addressing the media in presidency, Khursheed Shah said that the parliamentary committee will take up the issue if it was not resolved by tomorrow, adding that the PM Raja will get another eight days if the matter was transferred to election commission.

 

Responding to a question, he said that the government has given four names to the speaker for parliamentary committee which includes him, Farooq H Naek, Ghulam Ahmed Bilor and Chaudhry Shujaat.

 

Shah further said that no new name has been surfaced for the caretaker premiership while declined to comment on justice (R) Nasir Aslam. Zahid.
