ISLAMABAD (Online): Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected the government’s reservations on new nomination forms and these forms have been sent to the government for review.
Sources are of the view that the Election Commission has analysed the government’s reservations on new nomination forms and has concluded that all the reservations cannot be eliminated or come under discussion.
The amendments presented by the Commission were very essential and these should be approved at the earliest, they added.
Moreover, the Election Commission will soon send the reservations of the Law Ministry and the amendment to the President of Pakistan.
