Summary President Asif Ali Zardari says that negligent officers should be fired from institutions.
KARACHI (Dunya News):-President Asif Ali Zardari has said that criminal elements should be crushed without any discrimination.
Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad called on the president at CM House in Karachi on Friday and discussed law and order situation in the metropolis.
Governor was of the view that law enforcing institutions lacked technical assistance due to which they find themselves unable to achieve their goals.
President also ordered the interior minister Rehman Malik by telephone that security forces should be equipped with proper resources so that they may be able to crackdown against criminal elements in the society
President Zardari also made it clear that no leniency should be expressed with criminals, adding that police officials who have not ability to have result-oriented action should be fired from the department for ever.
Before this, president held a meeting with the Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and directed him to provide funds for bereaved families of blast victims.
President Zardari also laid foundation stone of three projects in Chief Minister House.
