LAHORE (Online):-PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has re-inaugurated Pak Tea House after 13 years that is a historic meeting place for writers, intellectuals, poets, and men of letters.
Talking to media, Nawaz Sharif said that the importance of re-inauguration of ‘Pak Tea House’ is no less than that of the Metro Bus Project, as writers and thinkers serve the nation selflessly.
Renowned writer and journalist Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi said that before partition of India, ‘Pak Tea House’ was called ‘Indian Tea House’. He noted that after the closure of ‘Pak Tea House’ the intellectuals lost a meeting point. But, now the teahouse has been re-opened for consultation on national issues.
