Summary Steel Melters Association managed to deprive govt of revenue worth Rs 12 billion through an SRO.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – It has been learnt that PPP leader Azizur Rehman Chan managed to get approved the summary in this connection.
According to a report the Steel Melters Association incurs loss to national exchequer worth Rs 12 billion by getting reduction in rate of GST on electricity bills through an SRO.
The GST on electricity bills was reduced from Rs 7 to Rs 4 through an SRO.
As a result the government was deprived of revenue worth Rs 12 billion.
