Summary MQM leader Syed Sardar Ahmad has been appointed opposition leader in Sindh Assembly.
KARACHI (Dunya News):-Sindh Assembly speaker Nisar Ahmad Khuhro said that Syed Sardar Ahmad has support of majority of members in the assembly; that is why the assembly has decided with consensus to appoint Syed Ahmad as opposition leader in the provincial assembly.
Before this, ministers hailed from the MQM had moved an application to the Speaker Sindh Assembly for appointment of Syed Sardar Ahmad as opposition leader.
Speaker Sindh Assembly approved to appoint Syed Sardar Ahmad as opposition leader in the provincial assembly. Special notification in this regard has been released.
