Summary US ambassador Richard Olson says Pakistan should avoid projects that could invite sanctions.
TARBELA (Dunya News) – Talking to Dunya News Richard Olson Tuesday said Pakistan must fulfill its international obligations.
Olson said US policy on Iran is very clear.
“Not only United States but the whole world has reservations over Iran nuclear programme,” he said.
The envoy did not give a straightforward reply when asked whether Pak-Iran gasline project will affect Pak-US relations.
He also declined to comment on the resolutions by APCs organized by ANP and JUI-F urging talks with the Taliban, saying talks with Taliban was an internal matter of Pakistan.
The ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process and release of Taliban leaders, hoping two countries would reach an understanding on the issue of Moulvi Faqeer.
