Summary President Zardari approved 23 more election symbols today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan on Wednesday issued a notification regarding final list of election symbols.
Number of symbols reached 193 as President Zardari approved 23 more election symbols for the coming general elections.
As per details, there are total 227 political parties in the country, thus, 34 election symbols are still lacking.
Election Commission has summoned a meeting on March 1st to discuss formation of a committee to finalise scrutiny mechanism and asked NAB, FBR and SBP to nominate candidates for the committee.
