Summary Syed Munawar Hassan says that both of the parties would stand by each other in the general polls.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):- Dr Abdul Qadir Khan and Jamat Islami have agreed to contest general elections with the cooperation and coordination of each other for the progress and prosperity of common man.

While talking to the media on Tuesday, they said that they would eradicate corruption from the country if they were given an opportunity to come to power.

Dr AQ Khan said that he made the defence of the country strong and insurmountable but unfortunately it has been pushed on the abyss of decay and destruction by shortsighted and incompetent rulers who have nothing to do with the national interest; rather they are busy in looting the national resources for their vested interests.

The people are dying of hunger and strike while rulers are making money by unfair means, said renowned scientist.

Syed Munawar Hassan said that the Election Commission has not followed the orders enunciated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The function of voters’ lists has been hijacked particularly in Karachi, said JI leader.

He demanded of the government that the schedule of general polls should be announced as early as possible.
