The Chief Meteorologist Dr Ghulam Rasool has said that another rain spell of light intensity will start from 16th of this month at various areas of the country which will prove beneficial for the crops.
He said that light rain is expected in Punjab‚ Khyber Pukhtunkhwa‚ Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on Saturday and Sunday.
Dr. Ghulam Rasool said the crops especially wheat is at the stage of growing spikes and need sufficient water for upward growth so these rains will be blessing for farmers.
