Summary PCB will observe strike against NJRPMC order to lower courts to decide all pending cases by Dec 31.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan Bar Council (PCB), a countrywide strike will be observed today against National Judicial Reforms Policy Making Committee (NJRPMC) order to lower courts to decide all pending cases by December 31.
The statement said that the deadline given by NJRPMC is unfeasible because thousand of pending cases cannot be decided on just one month. Such kind of the order totally contradicts the fundamental rights relating to accessing justice in the constitution of Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Bar Council, the lawyers across the country will boycott courts today. The PCB has also appealed the CJ to take notice of this decision.
