Summary CM Punjab has said provision of best facilities to masses is top priority of Punjab govt.
LAHORE: He expressed these views while presiding over a high level meeting with regard to providing modern and best parking facilities.
The CM said that all out resources are being provided for this purpose so that citizens could benefit from the modern facilities.
He said that the aim of setting up of Lahore Parking Company is to provide best and modern facilities of parking to the citizens.
Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmad Hasan, Chairman Lahore Parking Company Hafiz Mian Nauman MPA, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretary Finance, Commissioner Lahore Division, District Coordination Officer and other officers concerned attended the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Turk company Ozpak has expertise in providing parking facilities and traffic management. He directed that a coordinated plan should be evolved for provision of modern parking facilities jointly with Turk company.
He said that experiences of Turk model should be fully benefited so that latest parking facilities could be available to the citizens.
Lahore Parking Company should provide best parking facilities to the citizens through its capacity building and Punjab government fully cooperate it. He directed that provision of best services should be top priority of Lahore Parking Company.
He asked Lahore Parking Company to evolve a business plan and Turkish model should be replicated for achieving this goal. The Chief Minister while directing to handover all sites selected for provision of parking facilities to Lahore Parking Company said that the company should provide best parking facilities at these places.
Chief Executive Officer Lahore Parking Company Mian Shakeel while giving briefing on the occasion informed that provincial metropolis has been divided in 28 parking zones and parking facilities are being improved under a phased programme.
