Summary Kala Bagh Dam was meant for the larger national interest to overcome energy woes, AQ Khan said.
Nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has stressed over importance of the Kalabagh dam, Dunya News reported.
During an interview with Roznama Dunya, AQ Khan said construction of dams including Kala Bagh Dam have become imperative at this critical juncture when country is facing acute shortage of electricity.
AQ Khan also expressed dissatisfaction over Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s response, saying that those condemning the dam are unaware of its importance.
In response to a question, he said elections are very important to bring political change in the country. The process will sweep away corrupt elements.
