Rangers have claimed to arrest three key Tehreek-e-Taliban members during targeted operation in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Friday.
The Rangers conducted targeted operation in different areas of Manghopir in the early hours of morning on a tip-off.
More than six hundred Rangers personnel conducted the operation for more than three hours. Women personnel and anti-terrorism squad also accompanied the Rangers.
The Rangers surrounded the whole area and conducted door-to-door operation, arresting more than sixty people. Most of them were released after investigation while Tehreek-e-Taliban s Qari Shakil group, Qari Umair and Qari Hammad along with other three companions were held in custody. Huge cache of arms and explosive were also seized from them. All of them have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
