Lahore High Court justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh heard the dual office case against President Zardari on Friday.
The member of Jamaat-e-Islami told the court that the ruling of High Court’s full bench and Supreme Court in Asghar Khan case clearly indicated that Zardari cannot keep his political party’ post along the presidency, adding that he cannot support any particular party.
On the basis of the arguments, the JI stated that Zardari didn’t comply with court orders. Therefore, he should be declared ineligible.
The court adjourned the hearing till December 5.
