KARACHI: Seven people have been killed in different incidents of firing in Karachi, mounting the death toll to 14 within the last 48 hours.
One person was killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on the Hub River Road in Karachi’s Baldia Town area.
Another man was shot dead over resistance during robbery bid in Metropol area of Site in Karachi.
Unidentified men opened firing in Landhi near petrol pump, killing four people. The deceased have been identified as Zafar Qaim Kani, Qadir and Aleem while the fourth could not be identified as yet. All of the deceased belonged to a political party.
On Wednesday, seven people including a child were gunned down in different areas of Karachi.
