LAHORE: A petition filed in the Lahore High Court, seeking judicial investigation of the deaths caused by Tyno, a cough syrup. The petitioner maintained that death toll as a result of the syrup is rising by each passing day, so therefore an inquiry into this incident may be undertaken by the high court judge.
LHC judge Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik will hear the case.
At least 17 people were died in Lahore during last few days after drinking a cough syrup suspected of being toxic.
