Summary The current status of PM Gilani after being convicted has been challenged in Supreme Court.
Azhar Siddique has filed the petition through lawyer A K Dogar under article 184-3.The petition stated that PM and the cabinet should be barred from working under the said article.He said after the release of full verdict and PM being convicted by Supreme Court, article 63 of the constitution is automatically applied.The petition has also requested to ask PM and his cabinet to stop their activities till the verdict on the petition.Meanwhile, the petitioner made cabinet and prime minister party to the case.
