Summary Senate session witnessed ruckus when PML-N member declared PM Gilani ineligible.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Najma Hameed on Friday said unscheduled electricity loadshedding has ruined lives of the people.The PML-N members staged a walkout from the proceedings over the failure of the government to address the load-shedding issue in the country.During today’s proceedings, the Senate was also informed that 315 missing persons have been traced and 471 such cases have been disposed of by the two commissions constituted for investigation in this regard.Minister of State for Interior Imtiaz Safdar Warraich told the House during question hour that a report of first commission has been issued while the report of second commission will be released soon.To another question Mr. Warraich said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have an extradition treaty and it is being implemented in letter and spirit.The Senate on Friday adopted a resolution condemning the terrorist attack on the mausoleum of former Senator and intellectual Ajmal Khattak and demanded strict action against those involved in such acts of terrorism.It said the terrorists are attacking mosques and mazars through out the country but they cannot succeed in their heinous designs because the people of the country are united against them.The resolution was moved by Zahid Khan.
