Summary Punjab Inspector general has tendered an unconditional apology in LHC today.
During the hearing, the chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) Sheikh Azmat Saeed warned that he will be directly sent to jail if court orders are not implemented in future.Meanwhile, Inspector general of Punjab assured the court that an immediate action will be taken on its orders.The hearing was adjourned as Punjab IG assured to promote DSP Saleem Sadiq to SP immediately.A petition was earlier filed by DSP Saleem Sadiq and others, seeking promotion to the rank of SP.
