Summary Supreme Court has sought an explanation from Balochistan CM over law and order situation.

In this regard, the SC also has summoned Chief Minister Aslam Raeesani and provincial Home Minister in this regard. SC said that the federal government is not cooperating to control volatile situation in Balochistan.Three-member Supreme Court bench headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry heard the missing persons’ case in Quetta on Wednesday.The Supreme Court has summoned the provincial authorities of ISI and other intelligence agencies.During his remarks, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said if the Prime Minister can appear before the court, then why heads of other institutions cannot?Earlier on Wednesday morning, the Chief Justice expressed annoyance over Deputy Attorney General and adjourned the hearing till 11 am. The court directed Deputy Attorney General to produce missing persons as the hearing resumes.However, the court resumed hearing at 12 pm but no missing person was produced in the court. The Attorney General told the court that representatives of ISI, MI and DG FC were not available in Quetta.The court inquired about the people heading the intelligence agencies and directed the Deputy Attorney General to ask them to appear before the court.The court also directed Deputy Attorney General to submit in writing that the intelligence agencies had failed to produce the missing persons.The Chief justice remarked that the houses were burning and the dead bodies were found but no institution was taking responsibility for this.Justice Tariq Pervez said the family members of the missing persons have left their homes and came here to seek justice.The CJ directed ISI, IB and police to recover the missing persons. He said if police do not perform well, the court will summon the chief minister.Advocate General Amanullah Kunrani told the court that each missing person would be recovered and produced before the court.
