Summary The High Court cancelled the bails of two officials and ANF arrested them from the court room.
Two-member divisional bench comprising Justice Rauf Shaikh and Justice Sagheer Ahmad Qadri conducted hearing of bail petition moved by pharmaceutical companies’ owners Iftikhar and Ansar Farooq for cancellation of case and interim bail.The Anti Narcotics Force also moved its record in the court.The ANF officials told that court that the company officials are involved in getting quota by illegal means. Both are accused of chemical quota scandal.They prayed to the court that on these grounds, their bail petition should be cancelled.After hearing arguments from both sides, the court rejected their bail regarding cancellation of case and interim bail.Thus, the ANF arrested both of the accused from court room.
