Summary Sindh High Court on Tuesday issued stay orders against ECPs decision to disqualify Waheeda Shah.
A two-member bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbassi and Justice Nisar Ahmed Shaikh heard the case regarding Waheeda Shah’s disqualification.Waheeda Shah has challenged the ECP verdict which disqualified her from competing in the elections for 2 years and also invalidated the results of February 25 by-elections in PS-53 constituency in Tando Muhammad Khan district for slapping an ECP official.The court issued the stay order against Election Commission of Pakistan’s verdict and by-polls to be held next on due date.
