Summary The Lahore High Court has issued a contempt notice to Chairman WADA and summoned him on April 25.
Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan of Lahore High Court started hearing of the case on Friday.The counsel of the petitioner took the stance that despite the court orders, fuel adjustment charges were being charged from the consumers who use less than 350 units of the electricity. He pleaded to the court to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents.The court accepted the petition for hearing, issued contemp notices and summoned all respondents including Chairman WAPDA on April 25.
