Provincial President Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) has been facing a case of keeping illegal weapons and was on bail.On Tuesday, a larger bench of the SC headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard a case at the Supreme Court’s Quetta registry against Shahzain Bugti for keeping illegal arms.After hearing the arguments, the court cancelled Shahzain and his 26 guards’ bail.Earlier, Balochistan High Court had granted bail to Shahzain Bugti along with his 26 guards in illegal weapon case.Frontier Constabulary had arrested Shahzain Bugti after a huge quantity of arms and ammunitions were recovered from one of his convoy’s car.The seized arms include unlicensed 43 Kalashnikovs, 6 RPG, 2 rocket launchers, 70,000 rounds, 2 RR Guns and several IEDs.Shahzain Bugti is the grandson of slain Baloch leader and former chief minister of Balochistan Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
