Summary Yasin Malik has reached Islamabad High Court to record his statement in memogate case.
Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Yasin Malik had said that he would reveal some important facts and apprise the commission about details of his meeting with Mansoor Ijaz, the central figure in the case.The commission had also rejected Husain Haqqani’s request for recording his statement through video link.However, Husain Haqqani filed an application in the Supreme Court, urging the apex court to allow him the facility on security grounds. A copy of the application has also been submitted in the memo commission.
