Summary 2-day Gazal festival has been organized to entertain the gazal listeners. On first day, famous singers sang the poetry of prominent poets, reported Dunya News.
Famous singers of the country performed in the annual festival that was organized by Lahore Art Council at Alhamra Art Centre.The festival opened with the performance of Noooran Lal who paid tribute to the Melody Queen Noor Jahan by singing her evergreen gazals.Folk singers Babar and Javed Niazi sang the gazals in folk tunes and received the public applause.In concluding performance, Hamuaira Chana enthralled the listeners by singing many famous gazals.
