In DVD there are so many additional add-ons, like comedy of director Rajkumar Hirani and the fans of this film will enjoy, said Aamir Khan. '3 Idiots' is the celluloid adaptation of author Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel 'Five Point Someone'. Talking to media persons, Bollywood actor R. Madhvan said the movie is not only for the people of Asia but also for the world and it connects common emotions felt by people everywhere. The film '3 Idiots' is not only for Indians or not for those who only understands Hindi or for Asian people but it is for the people all around the world and the movie also connects with the emotions of the people and I think this is a big achievement for Rajkumar Hirani, said R. Madhvan. The story of the film is based on three friends whose dismal grade point averages influence their friendship, love life and career choices. The film was released on December 25, 2009 and has brought Khan and producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra together for the first time.
