Summary Chairman of UC-166 robbed outside home while dacoits looted Rs 50,000 from another resident
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Cross firing occurred between police and dacoits near Kot Lakhpat while two major robbery incidents occurred, on Tuesday, in the provincial capital of Punjab, Lahore.
During the crossfire, a 30-year-old constable named Qamar Abbas was injured by dacoits firing. The robbers fled the location while police have started fnding trace.
4 robbers entered a grocery store in Asif Block of Iqbal Town. They looted the shop taking valuables including four iPhones, expensive watches and other precious items.
A second robbery took place in Karim Block of Iqbal Town where the resident was robbed of expensive mobile phone, cash and watch. Moreover, the chairman of UC-166 Chaudhry Shafqat was looted outside his own house.
DUNYA NEWS ATTAINED CCTV FOOTAGE OF ROBBERY:
The two robbers were on a motorbike and fled the scene right after making the robbery. Earlier, Dunya News had obtained the CCTV footage of a man named Imran who was robbed whole withdrawing cash from an ATM machine.
However, police are yet to catch the men behind these criminal offenses. The rising rate of robberies is of great concern for the people living in Lahore.
