Summary Average lending rate of banks remained 14 2 percent in the month of May.
According to the State Bank in the month of April average deposits rates were 10 bases points more than the previous month. Public banks rate of profit stood at 9.24 percent and those of the private banks remained 6.92 percent. Foreign banks rate of profit stood at 9.14 percent and specialized banks 3.24 percent.
