Summary A mixed trend was observed in Karachi Stock Exchange during the closing week.
The week took off with a slow start but the market picked the pace gradually after a surge in the fertilizer sector and due to the limited buying from the financial institutions.The trade volume did not swell much this week as well and the overall trading volume remained 307.4 million shares. Though the KSE 100 Index crossed the psychological barrier of 12,500 points during the week but fell back as the week ended at 12,464 points.
