Summary Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has stopped the supply of furnace oil to KAPCO due to nonpayment of outstanding dues.
According to sources, PSO has to recover outstanding dues over Rs 28.86 billion from Kepco. Due to nonpayment of outstanding dues from Kepco, the PSO has suspended the supply from 6 days. The sources said that 10 units of Kepco have been closed due to shortage of oil. They also said that only two days stock has been left.
