Summary Inflation rate recorded at 16.15 percent at the end of week on February 17 as compared to the same period of last year.
According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, inflation rate remained at 16.74 percent for lower income Pakistanis as compared to last year. Moong pulse was increased by 65 percent while red chilli increased by 61 percent.Beef price surged by 24 percent, mutton by 32 percent and chicken price increased by 10 percent. On the other hand, price of tomato, eggs and onions was declined.
