Summary Iranian delegation prepares for Switzerland discussions on commitments
TEHRAN (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday held a key meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragqchi in Tehran, where discussions focused on the regional situation following the recent agreement between the United States and Iran.
The meeting covered diplomatic developments, security matters and the potential impact of the agreement on peace and stability in the region.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior, Naqvi was warmly welcomed upon his arrival in Iran by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. Following the reception, the two interior ministers held talks in Tehran, where they exchanged views on regional peace, law and order, and the overall security environment.
During the discussions, both sides described the agreement between the US and Iran as a positive development towards achieving lasting peace in the region. The officials reviewed the importance of continued engagement and cooperation amid ongoing regional challenges.
