Summary Pakistan Embassy in Moscow marked Marka-e-Haq anniversary with envoy Faisal Niaz Tirmizi highlighting unity, diplomacy and Pakistan’s commitment to peace
MOSCOW (Shahid Ghuman) - A special ceremony was held at the Pakistan Embassy in Russia to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, highlighting Pakistan’s national unity, resilience and commitment to regional peace and stability.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community in Russia, students, business personalities and people from different walks of life.
Addressing the ceremony, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said Marka-e-Haq remains an important chapter in Pakistan’s history that showcased the unity, courage and determination of the entire nation before the world.
He said Pakistan had responded to Indian aggression a year ago during Marka-e-Haq in a responsible, balanced and internationally lawful manner, which was acknowledged seriously at the global level.

The ambassador said Pakistan’s political and military leadership demonstrated complete coordination, wisdom and commitment to national interests during the critical period, while the Pakistani people also displayed exemplary unity and solidarity.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said Pakistan’s armed forces showed unwavering resolve and professional excellence in defending the motherland, which remains a source of pride for the nation.
He reiterated that Pakistan has always supported peace, stability and constructive diplomacy in the region, but there can be no compromise on national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The envoy stressed that diplomacy, dialogue and mutual respect remain the most effective ways to resolve conflicts in the current global environment, adding that Pakistan firmly stands by this principled position.

The ambassador said the Pakistani community in Russia has always demonstrated patriotism, unity and commitment to national interests, which is highly commendable.
Members of the Pakistani community in Russia also addressed the gathering and highlighted the message of national unity and solidarity. Participants expressed full confidence in Pakistan’s civil and military leadership and acknowledged the country’s important role in promoting diplomacy, peace and regional security.
A special documentary film was also screened at the end of the ceremony.
