ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan on Thursday predicted that more constitutional amendments are in the pipeline, saying firmer action is needed to address the country’s problems.
Speaking on Dunya News’ programme “Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath”, Khawaja Izhar said the 27th amendment has opened the door for further constitutional amendments.
Khawaja Izhar predicted that at least three amendments will come after which everything will be settled. Taking a jibe at the Pakistan People’s Party, he said that the PPP has ruined Sindh.
Also speaking in the programme, PPP leader Mandokhail said that the MQM has been a coalition partner in every government.
He stated that Khawaja Asif is criticizing the 18th Amendment in the National Assembly. He said that instead of healing the wounds of the Sindh government, he is rubbing salt into them.
He further said that in 2012, people associated with Mustafa Kamal demanded Rs150 million from the owners of the Baldia Factory. When the money was not paid, the factory was locked and workers were burned alive. Hamad Siddiqui [MQM leader] is still absconding.
