Three newly-appointed permanent judges of IHC take oath

Three judges, Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, Justice Muhammad Asif, and Justice Raja Inaam Ameen Minhas, have been sworn in as permanent judges of Islamabad High Court by Chief Justice Dogar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Three additional judges have been sworn in as permanent judges of the Islamabad High Court.
Chief Justice of IHC Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar administered the oath to the Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, Justice Muhammad Asif and Justice Raja Inaam Ameen Minhas during a ceremony.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. The Registrar of the high court read the official notification announcing the judges' appointments.
The ceremony was attended by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, judges from the high court and district court, and members of the Islamabad High Court Bar.
The Ministry of Law issued the notification for their permanent appointments following approval from President Asif Ali Zardari.
Before their permanent appointments, the three judges served as ad-hoc judges for up to one year.
