Federal Shariat Court relocated to Islamabad High Court premises after presidential approval, with courtrooms prepared on third floor, while Federal Constitutional Court may also shift temporarily.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Federal Shariat Court has been shifted to the Islamabad High Court premises.

The Federal Shariat Court will now perform its functions within the premises of the Islamabad High Court. Courtrooms have been prepared on the third floor of the Islamabad High Court building, and nameplates of the judges of the Federal Shariat Court have also been installed outside the courtrooms.

According to sources, the Federal Constitutional Court will also be shifted to the High Court for a few days.

It is noteworthy that President Asif Ali Zardari had approved the relocation of the Federal Shariat Court and the Federal Constitutional Court.
