ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar of Friday said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi should focus on provincial matters and added that the federal government will not be blackmailed by threats of staging sit-ins.

Speaking on Dunya News programme “Tonight With Samar Abbas”, Attaullah Tarar said that the meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will take place according to the jail manual and warned that if laws are violated, no meeting will be allowed.

Attaullah Tarar said that the PTI founder is receiving the most facilities in jail. He said that Sohail Afridi has become a ‘Buzdar plus plus’. The law does not permit any one to go outside the Adiala Jail and engaging in hooliganism.

The federal minister added that these people disrupt the law-and-order situation outside Adiala Jail and are violating the law, which is why the meeting is not being allowed.

Attaullah Tarar stated that due to internal rifts in the PTI, matters have worsened. He claimed that a female PTI leader fed information to Indian and Afghan media.

The federal information minister added that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has no right to meet the PTI founder, and that Sohail Afridi should focus on improving law and order in his own province.
