Summary Council of Common Interests to hold session on December 15 to give a formal go ahead on census.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A session of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) will be held on December 15 after Supreme Court had issued a deadline. The issue of census was placed on first priority in 7-point-agenda.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair the CCI session in Islamabad on coming Thursday. Funds for nationwide census and involvement of the army will be discussed. The decision of giving a formal go ahead for census is expected.

Also, the Economic Corridor project and National Security Fund to meet security challenges will be under discussion. An amount of 8 billion divisible dividends will be allocated.

Exchange of views to restrict the autonomy of National Forest Policy, FATA reforms, Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and other regulators will also take place.
