(Web Desk) - Actor Namra Shahid publicly expressed her disappointment after a journalist failed to acknowledge her by name.

The actor appeared on a morning show, where she discussed feeling overlooked during a recent review of psychological thriller Muamma.

Namra, who plays Asiya, reacted to a critique of the third episode shared by Aamna Haider Isani on the entertainment platform Something Haute.

Recalling the moment, she said: “Yesterday, when Muamma’s third episode aired, Something Haute reviewed it, and I was deeply hurt.”

She revealed that the omission affected her so much that she directly reached out to the critic to express concern.

According to Namra, the review praised her performance but referred to her vaguely as “that girl, jiji’s helper.”

Aamna had then added: “I forgot her name.”

She questioned how such an oversight could happen during a published review meant to guide public opinion.

She asked on air: “This is too much. You sit down to write a review, and you forget the name?”

Namra stressed that critics usually prepare notes, adding: “You have a diary in front of you, can you not write a name?”

Her frustration was echoed when Nadia Khan’s co-host suggested the exclusion may not have been accidental.

While addressing the issue, Namra was careful to clarify that her criticism was not directed at her co-stars.

“Saba Qamar is in the same project, and I completely respect her.”

However, she emphasised that Muamma is a collective effort involving many performers whose work deserves acknowledgement.

Nadia Khan supported Namra’s stance, pointing out that she appears extensively throughout the serial. She remarked: “You have many scenes, even as many as Saba has.”

Namra has previously spoken about initially hesitating to accept the role of Jahan Ara’s attendant.
