A petition was filed in Lahore sessions court against YouTuber Rajab Butt and others over a viral video showing the alleged abduction of Ducky’s brother; hearing adjourned to Jan 30.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A petition has been filed in sessions court seeking registration of a case against popular YouTuber Rajab Butt and others.
The petition was submitted by citizen Ali Ahmed through his lawyer Mian Muneeb Tariq.
The petition states that in a viral social media video, the accused can be seen planning the abduction of Ducky Bhai brother. According to the petitioner, Haider Ali, Mann Dogar, and Rajab Butt allegedly intercepted Ducky’s brother Muneeb in Rajab Butt’s vehicle.
Rajab Butt and Mann Dogar reportedly covered Muneeb’s face with a black cloth and confined him inside the car, while Haider Ali recorded the entire incident.
The petitioner added that this act not only violates public morals but also poses a serious threat to public peace and safety.
The petition requested the court to direct authorities to register a case against the accused. The Additional Sessions Judge has issued notices on the petition and adjourned the hearing until January 30.
