RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Two brothers were killed when gunmen opened fire on them in Civil Lines police jurisdiction here on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Furqan and Ihtesham-ul-Haq. They succumbed to their bullet injuries before being shifted to hospital.
Police received a distress call about the incident and scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after sending the bodies to hospital for medicolegal procedure.
The assailants escaped before the arrival of law enforcers at the crime scene. One of the attackers is stated to be the son of a lady police constable.
